About

Vincent Tardrew is a composer, arranger, orchestrator and singer-songwriter. Born in Paris, he lived and worked for many years in Montreal, where he studied composition at the Université de Montréal Faculty of Music, notably with Alan Belkin, Ana Sokolovic and François-Hugues Leclair.
His catalogue includes works for orchestra, chamber ensembles, voice, choir and piano, as well as music for the stage. Alongside his concert work, he writes and performs his own songs. His first album, Salisbury Hotel, comprises ten songs; a new body of songs is currently in progress.
Now based in Paris, his work centres primarily on three areas: concert music, stage work and song. He also teaches music theory and musicianship at the Conservatoire à rayonnement départemental de Clamart (CRD).
